Charoen Pokphand Group (CP) to Invest Large Amount in the Construction of Chinese New Socialist Countryside

Based on Thailand World Daily, CP plans to invest a large amount of RMB100b again in the construction of Chinese new socialist countryside in the wake of the signing of investment agreement of USD1.4b with Kunming Yunnan province to participate in Chenggong new city construction of Kunming.
Xie Guomin, President of CP addressed between 2007 and 2012, China Development Bank will offer a loan totalling RMB100b in construction projects of new socialist countryside developed by CP. Currently, CP is gradually conducting cooperation with relevant cities and counties of Shaanxi, Anhui, Jiangxi and Hebei. CP will offer whole-journey production service to farmers and farmer specialist cooperative societies to build a batch of going-to-scale, standardized modernized salmon hatcheries, slaughterhouses and food processing plants to foster farm entrepreneurs and develop rural economy via the quaternity development mode of local governments, farmer specialist cooperative societies, China Development Bank and CP.
